Cooking Across Turkey Country

Conceiving, compiling and editing a cookbook is another example of trying something new. I had launched magazines, so I followed similar workflow and guidelines. But this time I worked solo with an outside team from Skyhorse Publishing. I approached this project as a way to connect people to hunting (and beyond) through food by sharing recipes sourced from the National Wild Turkey Federation membership. Each section — from appetizers to desserts — began with a story from a well-known personality in the hunting industry. The theme went beyond field to fork and showed that everyone has a seat at the table when it comes to sharing the harvest.
